5th Italian Zebrafish Meeting
Trento, 14, 15, 16 January 2026
The University of Trento, in collaboration with Fondazione Guido Bernardini, is pleased to invite you to the Fifth Italian Zebrafish Meeting, to be held in Trento on January 14–16, 2026. Following the successful editions in Padua (2017), Pisa (2019), Naples (2022), and Palermo (2024), this upcoming meeting promises to be an exciting continuation of the tradition.
The event will begin on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 14, and conclude by lunchtime on Friday, January 16.
This meeting will serve as a vibrant forum for presenting and discussing the latest advances in zebrafish research both within Italy and internationally. By encompassing a broad range of topics, the scientific program will allow the dissemination of cutting-edge research and will shed light on its future directions, by strengthening existing partnerships and forging new collaborations.
The program will feature oral and poster presentations selected from submitted abstracts, as well as three keynote lectures delivered by internationally renowned scientists in the zebrafish field. Dedicated sessions will include poster preview talks, poster presentations, and communal meals, creating ample opportunities for open scientific dialogue and informal networking across all career stages.
We particularly encourage abstract submissions from trainees, early-career researchers, and investigators from underrepresented backgrounds.
The meeting will be conducted entirely in English and warmly welcomes international participants.
